Dublin Intermediate News

Body

October and November have been wonderful months at Dublin Intermediate School. Our students enjoyed the Spook Parade in October, followed by a House Meeting and a celebration for Probitas House in November. In between all of the fun, our campus has been filled with meaningful learning and tremendous student growth. We are Growin’ for Gold across campus! Be sure to ask your students about their bronze, silver, and gold stars!

This week, students participated in a campuswide Writing Extravaganza, and we are already seeing outstanding academic progress. We encourage families to ask their students about their writing pieces and continue supporting them as they grow as writers.

Our annual Food Drive is currently underway to benefit our two local food banks. The class collecting the highest total weight of donations will earn a pizza party. We are grateful for the generosity of our families and the support you continue to show our community.

Looking ahead, we will host the Elementary UIL Meet on December 3 here on our campus. Please note that we will have early release at 11:15 a.m. on that day. Students competing in UIL will remain on campus until their events are complete. We are excited to cheer on our students and know they will represent our school well.

PTO will host the annual Jingle Bell Bash on December 9 from 5:30– 8:00 p.m. in the Intermediate Cafeteria. Families can enjoy free pictures with Santa, visit local vendors, and take part in tons of holiday fun. Activity stations will range from 1–2 tickets, and tickets will be available for just $1 each. We hope you will bring your students out for a festive and memorable evening!

This week, our staff had a wonderful time participating in Underground Spirit Week, and we invite students to join the fun during our “12 Days of Christmas” dress-up days beginning December 12. Flyers have been sent home, and information will also be shared after Thanksgiving Break.

As we move into December, we look forward to classroom celebrations, our Christmas programs, and—most importantly— the continued academic growth of our students. Christmas program dates and times will be sent home and posted on our Facebook page.

Please continue to follow our page for announcements, photos, and updates throughout the school year.
