The following first responder calls were made Oct. 27– Nov. 2. Local first responders handled 60 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 17 traffic stops.
Dublin PD Oct. 27
A suspicious vehicle was parked at the storage buildings across from Dairy Queen.
A two vehicle crash was reported at Hwy. 377/ Lower Greens Creek.
A welfare check was requested on a child that was crying in white SUV located in the 200 block of North Patrick. The vehicle was not located.
A welfare check was requested on a child in a split custody situation.
A person went to their storage unit and the lock had been changed. Tried to get ahold of the business owner and no one was answering phone. Requested assistance.
Oct. 28
A theft was reported in the 200 block of North Camden.
Someone was reported at an addresses in the 300 block of East Travis loading tile out of a garage and into a vehicle.
A gas drive off was reported in the 800 block of East Blackjack.
Reporting person called about someone being outside her house in the 200 block of Highland Avenue.
Oct. 29
A disturbance was reported when a female was afraid and her ex was coming.
A welfare concern was requested for a white ford SUV parked in front of a person’s home in the 600 block of East Blackjack. Thinks the driver may have been having car problems.
Oct. 30
A reckless driver call was reported on South Patrick and East Blackjack for a white Excursion driving slowly. They were not located.
Oct. 31
A person called about an alleged rabid skunk roaming around in the 200 block of Hurt Street. The animal was not located.
A white Nissan four door was weaving across lanes on North Patrick. The vehicle was not located.
A civil matter was addressed for a custody dispute.
A reporting person advised her car was hit while parked on a side street near her home in the 500 block of North Patrick.
A call was received for a possible crashed vehicle west of Hwy. 6/377. Vehicle was abandoned with a person walking towards town.
A two vehicle accident with injuries occurred on N. FM 219/Loop 267.
A dark colored hatchback was driving southbound in the northbound lanes on South Hwy. 377. It was unable to be located.
Nov. 1
Dublin PD was requested on an agency assist looking for a vehicle stopped in the northbound lane facing southbound on South Hwy. 377. It was not located.
A white dually was headed southbound in the northbound lane on South Hwy. 377. Emory Edwards was arrested on DWI, driving on the wrong side of the road and passenger Wyatt Carlisle was arrested for public intoxication and displaying fictitious driver’s license.
A reporting person advised there was a black pit bull roaming around town last seen at Big’s. RP advised he was friendly and jumped in a car at one point.
An escort out of town was given by the PD and other first responders for the Dublin High School band traveling to area competition.
A general burglar alarm was reported at Dublin Family Medical. It was a false alarm.
A person requested an officer in the 100 block of Spur Street due to a border collie and blue heeler being in their yard often.
Dublin PD assisted another agency for a vehicle involved in a hit and run accident.
A commercial burglary alarm was activated in the 300 block of North Patrick.
Nov. 2 An iPhone crash alert was activated in the 200 block of West Mesquite.
A vicious animal was reported when a dog bit a child’s face.
An alarm activated at Dublin Family Medical.
