Texas Extension Education Association will host its annual community Thanksgiving lunch at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9 at the Clairette Community Center.

Painting with Compassion set Nov. 8 Compassion Counseling Center is hosting its Painting with Compassion event from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8.
The $40 class includes all supplies needed to paint a canvas pumpkin and will benefit the nonprofit which offers counseling services for those who can't otherwise get help.
Refreshments are by donation.
The class will be located at Oakdale UMC located at 2675 W. Overhill Dr. across from the Stephenville High School.

Winter Clothing Giveaway Friday & Sat.
Kingdom Threads will be hosting its Winter Giveaway 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 and Saturday, Nov. 8 at 201 N. Camden St.
There will be winter coats and accessories, clothes and household items all for free.
Anyone is eligible to participate and the event is organized through First Baptist Church, Dublin.
