The following first responder calls were made Oct. 20– Oct. 26. Local first responders handled 66 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 23 traffic stops.

Dublin PD Oct. 20

People were burning in a barrel in the 800 block of East Chancellor.

A single vehicle crash occurred on CR 322/PR 1369 when a driver hit a fence and injured their arm.

An animal at large was reported on West Sheridan and Hurt that had reportedly tried to bite someone.

Oct. 21

PD was called for a teen with a disturbance and possible overdose. They were taken to get help.

Two students were transported to the elementary and high school.

A private alarm activated on PR 1145 and was a false alarm.

Criminal mischief was reported when someone was throwing rocks at the properties behind Brookshires.

A vehicle crash occurred on West Elm Street with a vehicle vs. tree. Unknown injuries.

Agency assist occurred with the wreck.

Oct. 22

Joel Arcoren was arrested for public intoxication after a disturbance.

Javier Lopez was arrested for public intoxication after being found passed out with a vehicle running.

A welfare check was requested on an individual on Grafton Street.

A welfare concern was called in for a vehicle driving the wrong direction. The vehicle exited on State Hwy. 6, made a U-turn back on the loop and then stopped. The vehicle was not able to be located.

A disturbance was reported in the 800 block of East Chancellor.

Aiden Amayo-Marchado was arrested after a traffic stop for no driver’s license and failure to yield for emergency vehicle.

Oct. 23

A noise complaint was called in on barking dogs in the 500 block of North Grafton.

A person requested to speak to an officer on a civil matter.

Another noise complaint was called in on barking dogs in the 500 block of North Grafton.

Oct. 24

Code enforcement asked a camper to leave in the 200 block of Highland Ave.

A traffic hazard was reported when the road block signs on North Patrick and Live Oak were blowing into the street during the storms.

Trees were reported down on East Liveoak and North Davies.

Powerlines were down and sparking in the 600 block of East Liveoak.

Oct. 25

A noise complaint about loud music was called in for the 600 block of South Norton.

A suspicious vehicle was called in for the 200 block of East Elm St.

A person called in about a pitbull with no shelter or access to food or water.

A dog at large was located inside Dollar General on South Patrick. Dog was not aggressive, just on a search for dog bones.

Oct. 26

An agency assist was requested for a traffic stop on Hwy. 377.

A vehicle crash was reported in the 200 block of North Patrick when an individual backed into a fence.

There was a traffic hazard reported in the 500 block of Blackjack when cardboard was in the roadway.

Oct. 20 – an elderly female fell and hit her head, was bleeding and needed assistance.
