The Sound of Dublin performs ‘Shattered’ at the district contest Saturday, Oct. 18 at Art Briles Stadium. The band received a Division 1 and will advance to the UIL Area B 3A Marching contest at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at the C.H. Collins Athletic Complex in Denton. "I am incredibly proud of each and every one of these kids. They continue to rise to every challenge that comes before them. I’m inspired by their resilience, growth and hard work. I cannot wait to see them shine at area!" Band Director Cathryn Smith said. The band is also under the direction of assistant band director Joseph Dunlap and Timothy Goff. Below from left, Senior David Nava performs a trumpet solo. Other soloists include Kimila Gonzalez and Miguel Corrales. Drum majors Morgan Keith and Keighly Lewis prepare the band for competition.
