Happy October to all! As of this week, we’ve officially reached the nine-week mark—meaningwe’realready one-fourth of the way through the school year! Time truly flies when you’re having fun and growing together.
Our Picnic with Loved Ones on Friday was a wonderful success! We cooked more than 800 hotdogs, and there were hardly any left by the end of the day. It was such a blessing to welcome families and friends to campus to share lunch and laughter with their students. The smiles, hugs, and pure excitement on our students’ faces as they spotted their loved ones were absolutely priceless. We hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did!
Be sure to stop by the concession stand this Friday night at the varsity football game, where our Intermediate teachers will be serving up snacks and smiles. This is a great opportunity to support both our secondary students and the Dublin Athletic Booster Club—so come see us and grab something delicious while cheering on the Dublin Lions!
Later this month, we’ll celebrate Red Ribbon Week from October 28–31. Each day, students will receive a small token—like a sticker or pencil—to remind them of the importance of living a drug-free life. We’ll also enjoy themed dress-up days: Red-y to Say No to Drugs! (wear red) Team Up Against Drugs! (team attire) Sock It to Drugs! (crazy sock day) Say BOO to Drugs! (wear a Halloween costume) Inside the classrooms, our students continue to amaze us with their growth and enthusiasm for learning. Be sure to ask your child about their gold, silver, and bronze stickers—a fun way we celebrate progress! Walking through the halls, you can hear multiplication facts being chanted, essays being discussed, science experiments bubbling, and music filling the air. Our teachers and students are truly making learning come alive every day! Parents, thank you for trusting us with your children. We are so lucky to have each one of them as part of our Dublin Intermediate family. This year, we are proudly “Growin’ for Gold,” and we know every child can achieve great growth and success!
