Halloween is just around the corner and Dublin has lots of events to make the town spook-tacular.

The Dublin Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual Safe Trick-or-Treating from 4-6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 in downtown Dublin.

The event will allow kids of all ages to go from door-to-door to collect candy and goodies from businesses. The event will still occur downtown even with construction taking place.

Any business that isn’t downtown that would like to participate is encouraged to call the chamber at 254-445-3422 to get a spot.

Regular door-to-door trick or treating will also take place on Halloween night and the 3rd annual Candy Map signups are now underway!

If you plan to hand out candy in town for Halloween, register your home by Oct. 28. Scan the QR code that accompanies this article or call Amanda Christman at 267-4009563.

The candy map will be shared by the Citizen, Revitalize Dublin, Dublin TX Chatter, The Dublin Chamber of Commerce and a physical copy will be pinned on the Crime Scene board outside Shenanigans in downtown on Oct. 30.

Salyer Chiropractic Clinic is hosting a pumpkin decorating contest this year, with two categories: a general category open to everyone and a business category.

Decorated pumpkins should be dropped off at Salyer Chiropractic Clinic on or before Oct. 24. When dropping off pumpkins, bring them inside and give your phone number and name. The pumpkins will be judged and the winner will be announced on Nov. 3. There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awarded in each division.

Salyer Chiropractic is located at 200 E. Blackjack.
