From Staff Reports
The following first responder calls were made Sept. 29– Oct. 5. Local first responders handled 86 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 36 traffic stops.
Dublin PD Sept. 29
The stop light was out on Patrick Street at DQ due to a widespread power outage.
A rabid animal was reported in the 500 block of Hurt Street.
A theft was reported in the 200 block of East Blackjack.
A disturbance was reported in the 300 block of North Camden.
A dog jumped on a person’s daughter and she got scratched by the stray dog in the 500 block of North Park A missing female was reported when she went for a walk and would not answer her phone. Female was located.
Sept. 30
A commercial building alarm was activated in the 200 block of South Patrick.
A dog was foundin the 200 block of Highland.
A welfare check was requested on a female that closes a business and was not answering her phone.
Oct. 1
A reporting person advised a male was asleep in an 18-wheeler rock hauler eastbound before the railroad tracks on East Blackjack. Vehicle was not located.
Oct. 2
Dublin PD assisted county with a domestic disturbance on FM 219.
Dublin PD assisted with a driver asleep at the wheel at Allsup’s.
A reckless driver call was reported for a maroon car passing on the right on Hwy. 6. Vehicle was not located.
A person requested options regarding getting their belongings from a home with roommates.
Police advised on a legal question regarding possible theft charges.
A reckless driver call was reported on East Live Oak and North Davies for a white Kia driving back and forth driving recklessly and speeding. Vehicle was not located.
A welfare concern was issued for a child in a custody disagreement.
Oct. 3
A lost passport was reported.
A two vehicle crash was in the parking lot of DQ.
An assault was reported between two students.
Suspicious activity was reported on Myrtle.
A missing 7th grader was reported in the 600 block of Thomas. Was later located.
Oct. 4
A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 800 block of North Patrick.
A reporting person in the 500 block of O’Neil had an emu in her back yard and it wouldn’t leave. She was not emu-zed.
Oct. 5
A 911 call was made in the 400 block of West Blackjack. Unable to locate.
A noise complaint was made in the 500 block of East Liveoak when someone complained of music so loud it was rattling the house.
Dublin EMS
Sept. 29 – a passenger fell out of their chair on the CARR bus, unknown injuries.
Sept. 30 – A two vehicle crash occurred near the Purple Goat. EMS mutual aid. A two vehicle crash occurred on FM 216. No serious injuries with one vehicle on its side. An officer requested EMS for an elderly female at the gym.
Oct. 1 – An elderly female cut her finger and it would not stop gushing blood.
Oct. 4 – a male was bleeding a lot, possible cut to artery. Tourniquet placed on it.
Oct. 5 - An elderly female was sick with a heart condition, taken to ER.
A medical alarm was activated for an elderly female that had fallen. Canceled, family was able to help her get up. A 30 aged male was going through withdrawals and needed assistance.
Dublin Fire
Sept. 29 – a power pole was on fire in the 600 block of South Park Street.
Oct. 1 – A powerline was hit by an oversized load in the 12000 block of South Hwy. 377. The vehicle continued on into Dublin. It was not located. A reporting person could see black smoke next to the battery supply unit in the 1600 block of CR 299.
