Revitalize Dublin is inviting community members to join us for a special service project at 421 South Norton St., Dublin, to support a recent widow in our community.
Together, we’ll be replacing her privacy fence to help restore both security and peace of mind at her home.
This homeowner was awarded a $500 Revitalize Dublin grant last month to assist with the cost of the project. The grant, combined with volunteer support, will make it possible to complete this important improvement in just one weekend.
The project will take place in two stages: Friday, Oct. 4, starting in the afternoon – Fence tear down and brush clearing Saturday, Oct. 5, beginning at 8 a.m. – Rebuild of the new fence All supplies will be on site, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their drills, hammers, and tools to help remove brush and small trees, along with a positive attitude. And if you can only volunteer for an hour, no problem—any amount of time you can give will be a big help.
