From Staff Reports The following first responder calls were made Sept. 8– Sept. 14. Local first responders handled 82 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 30 traffic stops.

Dublin PD Sept. 8

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 700 block of West China.

A deputy requested backup on a traffic stop.

A traffic stop with a citation occurred with an unlicensed juvenile that was released to an adult.

An officer checked on abandoned vehicle that was parked in the 2200 block of W. Hwy. 6.

PD responded for a civil standby.

An alarm was activated on the front door of Dublin Family Medicine.

An individual reported someone harassing kids and advised they were not in a stable mindset.

Sept. 9

A one vehicle roll over occurred on CR 357. Emergency services were canceled since both parties left the scene.

A vicious animal was reported in the 800 block of East Blackjack.

A consent search was done. No citation issued.

A person advised they needed assistance with cyberbullying.

Madison Bennett was arrested on a DWI after a single vehicle car accident.

Sept. 10

A red Dodge extended cab pickup was going up and down the road at a high rate of speed in the 300 block of Gracie St.

A noise complaint was called in for vehicles playing music too loud near the tennis courts at the City Park.

Sept. 11 A disturbance was reported at Taylor’s.

An active threat was reported via panic alarm at the Dublin Tax Office.

A terroristic threat was reported in reference to someone threatening contractors in the 400 block of West Blackjack.

Sept. 12

A hit and run was reported in the 400 block of South Patrick.

The theft of a motorcycle was reported in the 400 block of South Norton.

A gas drive off was reported in the 800 block of East Blackjack.

A white Ford Edge was reportedly driving westbound on the eastbound side on Hwy. 377.

A motorcycle was reportedly weaving in and out of traffic on Hwy. 6. PD was unable to locate.

A juvenile male was arrested.

Sept. 13

A person in the 200 block of East Harris heard knocking at their window. PD was unable to locate anyone.

An iPhone crash detection was pinging to an address in the 2200 block of W. Hwy. 6. No accidents were located.

A black pickup was headed to Comanche on Loop 267 on the wrong side of the road. They were not located.

A subject was knocking on a door repeatedly in the 300 block of West Travis, was wearing a black Champions shirt and pink bonnet. PD was unable to locate.

A person in the 400 block of North Camden reported someone coming to their door, banging on it and rapidly ringing the doorbell. By the time they answered they were gone.

A welfare concern was called in on someone riding a bike and someone riding a horse on the wrong side of the road in the 800 block of North Patrick. They were unable to be located.

Sept. 14

A person in the 200 block of North Patrick possibly heard two gun shots. They were unsure where they came from. Police did not locate any shooters.

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 200 block of East Live Oak.

Two cows were reportedly hanging out in the median between town and Allsup’s. Police were able to moo-ve them along.

An illegally parked vehicle in the 700 block of East Blackjack was moved and cleared with a warning.

Boys were playing the fountain on East Blackjack. They were not located.

PD assisted another agency locating an individual after a domestic fight.

Dublin EMS

Sept. 11 – an elderly lady requested a lift assist, possible broken wrist.

Sept. 12 – An elderly male fell and was unable to get up. He hurt his elbow, and other injuries were unknown.

Sept. 13 – EMS did a standby at the Hispanic Fall Festival at St. Mary’s.

Dublin Fire

Sept. 9 – A fire was reported in the 1800 block on CR 337.

Sept. 13 – A person in the 200 block of Grafton could see smoke to the north of them, but couldn’t tell where it was coming from. FD was unable to locate.

Sept. 14 – FD called for ice cream machine smoking in the 800 block of North Patrick. Investigated and ice cream machine was disconnected and out of use.
