The following first responder calls were made Aug. 22–Aug. 28. Local first responders handled 75 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 21 traffic stops.

Dublin PD Aug. 22

A person needed information about how to take out a restraining order.

A person called city hall stating they heard gunshots.

A subject was harassing employees at the Dollar General in the 400 block of North Patrick St.

Someone at a garage sale on Highland Avenue was selling medicine from Mexico.

An agency assist occurred and Dublin PD helped in the 1200 block of E. State Hwy. 6.

A 911 hangup occurred in the 600 block of North Grafton St.

Dublin assisted with an agency assist at Dublin Cemetery/CR 322.

A disturbance occurred in 700 Block of N. Patrick. Pedro Dimas was arrested for assault family violence.

Aug. 23

Potential illegal antibiotics were being sold at a location.

A follow up investigation occurred regarding an emergency protective order.

An agency assist occurred when Dublin backed up another unit on a traffic stop.

A criminal trespass warning was served.

Aug. 24

A disturbance occurred in the 400 block of Moore.

A dead cat was reported in front of a neighbor’s house in the 800 block of Courtney Dr.

Goats were reported on Trowbridge Street as they were out and trying to be corralled by PD.

A welfare concern was called in by a child via 911 when their mom was asleep. When the 911 dispatcher asked the child to wake up the mom, the child said, “No.”

Aug. 25

An owner was bit by her own dog.

A tractor in the middle of the road broke down blocking both lanes in the 600 block of South Patrick.

A vehicle on Hwy. 377 was in the lane of travel with no one around.

A grey Ford truck was reported driving recklessly on West Liveoak. Vehicle was not located.

A person came over stating they wanted to clean under a vehicle in the driveway, and was asked to leave. They said they would leave when they wanted to leave. A criminal trespass warning was issued.

A vehicle had up onto a storm cellar in the 300 block of North Patrick and was parked there for more than an hour.

Aug. 26

A couple in a blue Tahoe was fighting and a witness allegedly saw the male punch the female in the face. Female took off in vehicle, male subject started walking. Officer located female and everything was 10-4. Male’s location was unknown.

A single vehicle accident occurred on FM 1702 with a car vs. tree. Driver was uninjured.

A semi truck got struck on the railroad in the 400 block of East Myrtle.

A welfare concern was checked on after suspicious activity.

A disturbance was reported in the 300 block of North Camden.

Aug. 27

A disturbance was reported in the 1000 block of North Patrick.

A suspicious person was reported in the 600 block of West Liveoak being pushy while selling items. Would like a call back regarding when people are allowed to sell items.

A reporting party was having problems with numerous dogs barking all day and night in the 400 block of Henry Street.

Aug. 28

A person requested a call back about the school.

A minor vehicle crash occurred on Hwy. 6. No EMS needed.

Dublin EMS

Aug. 22 – A person was on a bus with a passenger that was asleep and fell out of chair. Needs help lifting him back in the chair. An elderly female fell and her nose was bleeding. An elderly female had a UTI a week ago, could not walk and needed to go back to the ER.

Aug. 23 – An elderly female on Hospice fell and needed assistance to get up. An elderly female was not acting right.

Aug. 27 – A reporting person advised an older woman did not look well, was dizzy and clammy despite being given juice she wasn’t showing signs of getting better.

Aug. 28 – An elderly female was in extreme pain from a knee replacement. An elderly female fell out of her wheelchair and needs assistance.

Aug. 22 – A person sees flames again at Cutting Edge Cabinets and thinks it has rekindled.

Aug. 23 – Smoke was coming from a ceiling in the 500 block of Blackjack.
