County, city rolling out tire collection

Erath County and the City of Dublin are hosting a free tire disposal event Saturday. Sept. 6 at the public works yard (602 N. Norton).

Tires will be collected from 8 a.m. to noon or until the trailer is full. This event follows a wellattended collection event held by the City in which trailers were filled quickly.

Those dropping off tires must show proof of residence in Erath County. Car, trailer or vehicle tires will be accepted. No truck tires or wheels. Event is open to residents, not businesses.
