The following first responder calls were made Aug. 4–Aug. 10. Local first responders handled 69 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 29 traffic stops.
Dublin PD Aug. 4
A return phone call was received on a sexual assault case from an investigator.
A theft was reported in the 400 block of North Postoak.
Aug. 5
A traffic hazard was reported when two cars were parked side by side in the 100 block of North Davies. Traffic was unable to get by.
A reckless driver call was reported on Hwy. 377 when a blue dodge ext. cab coming into Dublin which was traveling 100 mph and running people off the road.
An agency assist occurred when a vehicle went through a fence and someone was needing to reach an individual at a business in town.
A person’s kids ran home and told her they saw another kid get taken at the park.
A disturbance was reported at the Valero near DQ between two individuals.
A welfare concern was called in for an individual on Sheehan walking, screaming and yelling wearing a child’s fireman helmet.
A burglary alarm activated in the 200 block of South Patrick.
Aug. 6
An agency assist occurred on FM 219 when a person was assaulted, suffering mentally and backed their car into a family member’s vehicle.
A person had a legal question to ask an officer.
A person wanted to report that someone got his car insurance and added themselves to his account.
A civil standby was needed for an eviction.
A person in the 200 block of Patrick was unloading groceries and her 3-year-old child slipped out the front door, and she was unable to locate him.
Aug. 7
A suspicious vehicle was reported on Bryan Circle when a red Chevy pickup was going to multiple houses. They were unable to be located.
An agency assist occurred on CR 322 with a trespass call.
Code enforcement responded with a warning in the 800 block of Preston Lane.
Aug. 8
A welfare concern was issued for a client that has not responded, and also had an ankle monitor that has not been responding either.
An agency assist was completed with a dark colored bay horse out on FM 847 and CR 520.
Three people were fighting across from the antique store in the 400 block of East Blackjack. Landon Burch was arrested for Public Intoxication.
Aug. 9
A person in the 500 block of East Live Oak reported neighbors’ dogs barking.
An individual reported narcotics paraphernalia being found.
A funeral escort to new Dublin Cemetery was completed.
Aug. 10
An agency assist was requested on CR 351 when someone reported individuals driving back and forth in front of the person’s property shooting into the pasture. She could not see her livestock. An officer checked out with a suspicious vehicle and a report was taken.
A welfare concern was called in when a wife was looking for her elderly husband.
An animal at large was reported in the 200 block of Mills St. when a severely malnourished dog was found on a front porch, with a collar that was digging into its neck.
A person in the 500 block of West O’Neil Street reported two gunshots and then a car alarm went off. Officers were unable to locate.
Dublin EMS
Aug. 5 – A male was found on CR 543/PR 1499 laying in his vehicle in very bad shape. EMS requested to check him out.
Aug. 8 – An elderly female fell from a standing position.
Aug. 9 – A 2-monthold was having difficulty breathing due to coughing and congestion. An elderly female with chest pains was reported.
Aug. 10 – An elderly female passed out at St. Mary’s Church. Was conscious and breathing.

Aug. 5 – A grass fire was reported on CR 351.
