The following first responder calls were made July 21–Aug. 3. Local first responders handled 145 calls during this two week timeframe and PD completed 53 traffic stops.
Dublin PD July 22
A vehicle crash occurred on South Liberty/FM 1702 when a driver hit an animal and the vehicle quit working.
A single vehicle accident occurred on Hwy. 377 South when a piece of plywood went through a windshield.
A suspicious person was reported in the 300 block of Camden when a male claimed to be with Brightspeed asking to check her WiFi usage.
July 23
A disturbance was reported in the 300 block of North Camden.
A FedEx truck hit another truck in the 400 block of West Clinton and left without saying a word.
A motorist assist occurred on FM 219/Hwy. 377.
July 24
A false alarm was reported in the 600 block of Thomas.
A railroad worker was needing traffic control while he worked on the railroad.
A 911 hangup call was reported in the 400 block of North Park. Dispatch was unable to make contact with the caller.
There was a cow out on West Clinton Street.
July 25
A reckless driver in a grey Kia Forte was speeding and cutting people off coming into Dublin on West Hwy. 6.
July 26
A person called 911 and it was unknown what they were saying. Caller disconnected before translation software was called.
A stray dog was running around in their yard in the 600 block of Cottonwood Street.
A death notification was made after a fatality accident occurred in another state.
A truck pulling a trailer on Hwy. 377 was losing brush on the highway.
A person’s son stated an individual allegedly pulled a gun on him then left on foot. Officers were unable to locate a suspect matching the description.
A person was riding their bike in the 800 block of Courtney Drive and was attacked by a dog.
A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 700 block of Thomas.
July 27
An accident occurred on Hwy. 377.
A disturbance between a male and female was reported in the 300 block of South Patrick.
July 28 Another agency was out with a DWI requesting a second officer on CR 351.
Aaron and Sharon Taff were arrested on felony warrants for insufficient bond for exploitation of the elderly charges.
A person found a phone and wanted to turn it in.
Information for a protective order was requested.
A panic button was hit in a classroom at the high school. A kid accidentally hit a button.
A welfare concern was called in for a male with a bat that offered the person multiple scissors in a nonthreatening way.
July 29
An alarm was reported at Dollar General.
A welfare concern was called in for a person slumped in the front seat of a vehicle. The subject was just sleeping.
A disturbance was reported over a custody issue.
A teenager left and a parent wanted to know legal options.
A 911 hangup call was reported with a domestic between teen and mom.
An alarm was reported in the 200 block of North Patrick.
July 30
A CPS investigation took place.
A minor vehicle accident occurred in the 300 block of South Liberty between a U Haul Truck and a silver Ford explorer.
July 31
A custody welfare concern was called in.
A report was taken regarding a stolen cell phone.
A welfare concern was called in regarding a woman screaming.
Aug. 1
A semi driver was telling a female he didn’t feel well and began following her towards her apartment on West Blackjack. Information was collected and no action was needed.
A legal question was called in about a friend that may soon be homeless. Wanted to find them a safe place to stay.
A vehicle crash took place in the 700 block of Patrick Street when someone rear ended someone else. Airbags deployed.
A person heard doors slamming, screaming and a dog yelping from a SUV parked in front of her driveway.
Aug. 2
A subject on Travis Street was reportedly wearing a Spartan helmet. (THIS IS…. Dublin. Not Sparta.)
An older tan Chevrolet truck was driving erratically through traffic on South 377, speeding and cutting people off.
A false alarm was reported when a fire alarm activated.
A Dublin unit assisted with cows out at the Double N Cowboy Church.
10 goats were reportedly loose on Hwy. 6. Officers couldn’t locate the gruff group.
A panic button was activated at the high school. False alarm.
A panic alarm was activated ... unknown location.
A person on Instagram live with a weapon was reported. Reporting party believes the individual might have been in Dublin.
Aug. 3
A funeral escort was requested from Harrell’s Funeral Home to the Live Oak Cemetary.
A criminal trespass was requested.
An individual being harassed by an ex-boyfriend requested to speak to the police.
A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 100 block of South Grafton St.

July 21- An elderly male had a fever and was not coherent.
July 22 – An elderly male had a possible stroke. A 3-year-old girl fell and then was ran over by her siblings pedal car.
July 23 – A male had surgery on his hand and cannot get it to stop bleeding. A lift assist was requested when a wheelchair got stuck. An elderly male reported high blood pressure with headache and blurry vision.
July 24 – An elderly male was experiencing back pain. An elderly female fell and possibly broke her hip. An elderly male reported having pancreatitis and needing to go to Comanche hospital.
July 26 – An elderly male fell and family needs help to lift him up. An elderly male was pale in the face, slurring his words, feeling like he was going to pass out. A person recently had dental surgery and was not coherent.
July 27 – A middle aged female was slurring her words, but was conscious and breathing.
Aug. 1 – A cancer patient’s heart was pumping very hard, and she had recently taken her immunotherapy medication. Was having hiccups continuously.
Aug. 3 – An elderly female was reported to have very high blood pressure and was feeling pressure in her chest. BP has been high for days.
