Superman (School Board Member Ryan Mitchell) stopped by the Welcome Back Breakfast for teachers and all Dublin ISD employees Tuesday, Aug. 5. Mitchell encouraged employees to become the heroes that many students need throughout the school year.
Teachers walk around the room to gather goodies donated by a slew of businesses at the Welcome Back Breakfast organized by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. Booths and businesses involved in the event with free give-a-ways included: Texas Bank, Dublin Dairy Queen, Dublin PTO, First National Bank of Dublin, Stephenville Area Elks Lodge No. 2839, Campbell Farm and Ranch, Erath County Farm Bureau, EECU, Texas Sage Garden Market, Boucher & Smart CPAs, IAA Central Texas, DLMM Services LLC, Suds & More, M&M Service Station, Dublin Auto Repair, The Dublin Citizen, Patrick St. Pharmacy, Bank of Houston, Dublin Cleaners, Dublin Florist, Central Inn, All About You Spa and Salon, Titan Fitness, Blessings, Allsups, Stephenville/Dublin KOA, Comanche County Medical Center, Mindy Gardner- Mary Kay, Nancy Williams - Realtor and Shenanigans Irish Pub. Left, cafeteria staff prepared a delicious breakfast of fruit, yogurt, biscuits, sausage and gravy for attendees before they started their first day of school. Staff will be preparing this week for the first day of school which is Tuesday, Aug. 12 for both Dublin and Lingleville ISD. For more photos see the Citizen Facebook page.
