Stephenville Police Department is currently investigating the death of a 38-year-old female found in the swimming pool at The Patrick Apartments yesterday, located at 2251 W. Lingleville Road.
According to Stephenville PD Captain Jeremy Lanier, the body of the woman was found at the bottom of the pool by a maintenance man around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 8 who called 911.
No lifesaving measures could have been taken at that point, police said.
“She was in a swim shirt and tights which her roommates stated is how she swims and regularly went to the pool dressed,” he said.
Preliminary investigation suggests no signs of foul play, however, police are waiting on autopsy and toxicology results. The female was a resident of the apartment complex, police said.
