Body

The following first responder calls were made June 30–July 6. Local first responders handled 79 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 16 traffic stops.

Dublin PD June 30

Dublin PD assisted county with a call when a male in all black was walking around someone’s property on FM 219.

A reckless driver was called in on Blackjack. They were unable to locate the White F150.

A reporting person that called in about a cat with possible rabies located it under a neighbor’s home.

Trucks were racing on Blackjack. They were not located.

July 1

A welfare concern for a red mini van was called in when a physical domestic disturbance was possibly seen. They were unable to be located.

A disturbance was called in between a male and female. Male was throwing things and then left home.

A box truck was running people off the roadway on North Patrick.

Suspicious behavior was reported when a bottle of pills with someone else’s name on them was found in their driveway.

A vehicle crash occurred on CR 371.

An agency assist occurred when DeLeon had a hit and run occur, and the driver possibly started walking eastbound. They were not located.

Someone was heard walking behind a person’s property on Eagle Street.

July 2

An open door was found in the 100 block of North Patrick.

A manager at Shamrock Apartments was requested someone be criminally trespassed after being cussed out.

An agency assist was requested for a welfare concern.

July 3

A subject hit a pole on FM 219 and didn’t need assistance, but was shaken up. DPD went to check on the subject.

Metal was sticking out of the railroad tracks on East Blackjack.

A hit and run was reported in the 900 block of North Patrick.

A railroad worker requested the roadway be shut down for 20-30 minutes to work on the railroad arms.

A suspicious person was walking around the 200 block of Comanche Street close to the railroad tracks, and tried to open up a person’s car door while they were stopped.

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 700 block of North Patrick Street.

July 4

An alarm was reported at Big’s.

A 911 hangup call came in originally showing Hwy. 377 as the location, but then switched to North Patrick. They were unable to call number back. Person located and there was no emergency.

July 5

A noise complaint was called in on the 500 block of East Elm for a black truck making noise and speeding up and down the street.

A disturbance was called in for two family members, one left that was impaired. PD attempted to locate and was unable to find the individuals.

Kids across the street from an individual shot a firework at his house. He has PTSD and it triggered an anxiety attack. PD contacted the parents.

Legal question was asked for in regards to nude photos being sent.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of Gracie Street when a person painting a room for the homeowners heard people in the trailer behind the home. Nobody was supposed to be in the trailer and the report cannot get a hold of the homeowner.

A subject asked a legal question concerning a custody agreement.

July 6

A water rescue occurred for a mini van on CR 408 that was in the middle of a creek with occupants inside.

Dublin EMS

June 30 – An elderly female fell and needed a lift assist. No injuries. A deputy on the scene of a call advised they needed an EMS response. A one week old whose umbilical cord had fallen off was oozing fluid.

July 1 – An elderly female with a medical alarm was sitting in the driveway of her home. Not hurt, just cannot get up.

July 2 – An infant was having a hard time breathing with fever and cough. A person’s mom needed to go to the hospital. Mom is immobile and was having muscle pain.

July 2 – A 1 month old rolled off the couch and mom was wanting him checked out. The baby was awake and alert. A person was choking on food.

July 3 – An elderly male fell in the bathroom and was needing assistance to get up. He was stung by a swarm of bees earlier in the day, but was not having any trouble breathing.

July 4 – Dublin EMS was called for an agency assist for a two vehicle accident on CR 343 and CR 341. EMS was called for a patient with stomach cancer vomiting blood.

July 5 - A person fell out of a vehicle due to having too much to drink. Person was not injured, just needs help up. An elderly female fell and back may be broken. A middle aged male collapsed, was having convulsions with no history of seizures.

July 6 - A deputy requested EMS for a male passed out in the back of his unit. Subject breathing. An elderly male was having trouble breathing. Has muscle loss due to medical conditions.

Dublin Fire

A gas line was leaking on Gracie Street and the fire department was called.
