Evelyn Juanita Goble, aged 89, of Stephenville, Texas passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025. Born on December 2, 1935, in Henderson, Texas, Evelyn was a beacon of love, strength, and resilience throughout her life, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Evelyn’s journey began in the quiet town of Henderson, where she nurtured a profound appreciation for her family and community. Her life was characterized by her unwavering devotion to her loved ones, especially her husband, Fredie Goble, to whom she was a steadfast partner for 43 years.
Evelyn is survived by her devoted husband, Fredie Goble, and their children: son David Reagan, son Randy Goble, daughter Rhonda Mitchel, Her grand-daughter Lindsey Travis and Husband Jason, her great-grandchildren Jay Travis, Joshua Travis, and Reagan Travis. Each of her children will carry forward her legacy of strength, compassion, and the importance of family, values she instilled in them as they grew.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Witherspoon and Mary Frosch, her daughter Linda Ferenz and husband David, her son Rodney Goble, her sister Pat Bruchey and husband Stuart.
Funeral services for Evelyn will be held on Monday, June 30, at 2 PM at the Hillcrest Church of Christ with Frank Briscoe officiating. A visitation will be held at Stephenville Funeral Home from 5-7 PM on Sunday, June 29.
