The following first responder calls were made June 16–June 22. Local first responders handled 58 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 13 traffic stops.

Dublin PD June 16

The reporting person was driving an oversized load, and was trying to find a way to get around Dublin without breaking his permit. The person spoke with TxDOT, they gave the same route he already had. He sent his pole car on the loop and advised he would not be able to go under the loop.

A Comanche PD investigator requested to speak with Dublin PD in regards to a sexual assault call.

A police officer responded to the 600 block of Water Oak to aid someone who had been barricaded in their house by a peacock.

An individual reported bigamy within a family.

A vehicle was parked in front of a house in the 500 block of East Liveoak St. and left for days. It was the neighbors and they moved it.

A person requested clarification on the noise violation ordinance for Dublin. The neighbor’s dogs were barking all day and all night.

A disturbance was reported between a male and female that have a history of violence.

A person’s storage building was broken into in the 700 block of North Patrick.

June 17

A tree was down in the roadway in the 300 block of North Grafton. The tree was moved by public works.

June 18

An electric line was dangling in the roadway in the 300 block of West Liveoak St.

A Spanish speaker called needing police. A vehicle crash occurred in the 500 block of East Harris St.

A disturbance was reported when an individual threatened a person with a gun.

A person’s storage unit was broken into, and they need to turn in their statement.

An alarm was activated in the 400 block of Liberty St.

A person requested to speak to an officer about if anyone had turned in a brown wallet.

June 19

A person requested to speak to an officer about someone being on his property.

FBC Dublin noticed someone dropped off a bag under a picnic table.

A civil matter occurred over property and a dog. A criminal trespass warning was issued.

June 20

PD assisted with a funeral escort.

A suicidal person was reported driving a specific vehicle. PD was unable to locate them.

June 22

Dublin PD assisted county unit with a traffic stop.

A disturbance occurred in the 400 block of West Valley where one individual was holding the other one at gunpoint.

A reporting person wanted to speak to an officer about a suspicious person on Pecan Street, possibly with a gun that was making weird noises. Also a tan Cadillac with temp plates had driven by the home multiple times.

There was a horse in roadway between the city and a high school on Blackjack. It was not located.

A 911 call was received in the 300 block of North Camden, and they could not get a response from the caller, but yelling and arguing in the background.

Gabriel Renteria was located and arrested on a warrant for unlawful disclosure of intimate visual material.

A female was standing on a curb whispering and pointing at an individual in the 300 block of North Camden. County unit took the call since DPD was at the jail.

Dublin EMS

June 16 - A young pregnant female fell in her front yard and an emergency notification was activated.

June 17 – a male patient with low oxygen, shaking and delirious. Was airlifted to Harris Fort Worth. An elderly male was having back issues, was unable to move, but alert. Transported to Stephenville ER, then to Fort Worth for biopsy.

June 20 – responded to a possible suicide. A reporting person advised an elderly female fell, hit her head and was bleeding from her arm. An elderly male was not feeling well and was transported to Stephenville ER. A teenager was in an accident in Abilene, drove home and was not doing well. Call was given to Erath Med 2 due to Dublin not being available.

June 21 – A male home alone was diabetic and his blood sugar dropped to 49.. A medical alarm was activated for a female that fell getting out of the shower.

June 22 – An elderly female had been sick all day, throwing up with a headache.

Dublin Fire

June 17 – A fire alarm was activated at Three Oaks Assisted Living. No fire but the smell of smoke. A reporting person called in seeing a lot of black smoke in the area of PR 1387. Harbin VFD was on scene and advised the homeowner was burning tired. All units, including Dublin, were told to disregard.

June 22 – A small grass fire was smoking and there were flames on the northbound side of Hwy. 377/ CR 250 near Dr. Bills.
