The following first responder calls were made June 9–June 15. Local first responders handled 68 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 20 traffic stops.

Dublin Police Department

June 9

A tree was down in the 400 block of Liberty Street blocking the road.

A person hit a kitten in the 400 block of Hoffman Drive and put it in the yard next to the road. Kitten was still alive.

There was a great pyrenees out by Sonic.

An agitated male walked into the Relax Inn and started yelling at people.

June 10

A welfare concern was called in on someone in a ditch on Hwy 377/CR 351. They think the person was changing a tire but just wanted to make sure.

A theft was reported when someone stole a bunch of items from a store in the 400 block of South Patrick, and took off toward Milano’s. They were unable to secure the individual.

An older blue pickup was not maintaining the lane on Hwy. 6 traveling westbound into Dublin.

A calf was out at the property across the road from Allsup’s.

June 11

A follow-up was completed on a criminal trespass warning.

An 18-wheeler on Hwy 377 was swerving all over the roadway and took the Dublin exit. Officers were unable to locate it.

A suspicious person was reported going from doorto- door trying to sell solar panels, stating they were in affiliation with Oncor, but had no credentials to show.

A person was checking wells and a dog jumped in their truck. He took the dog to the PD and it was returned home to 510 W. Douglas.

June 12

A theft was reported in the 200 block of East Blackjack.

June 13

A welfare check was requested on an individual with an ankle monitor that should be at home but no contact has been made.

A male individual was laying on the ground on West Blackjack and CR 340.

A neighbor was reportedly threatening another neighbor with a gun.

A reporting person requested police verification for a letter sent to her mom.

An officer checked on someone on Hwy 6/377 underneath the bridge.

A reporting person stated that two little boys were fishing out of the pond corner lot. She requested an officer to tell them to try to stop catching the koi fish.

A person in the 500 block of West Blackjack hit a gas line with an excavator. They called Atmos Energy but were also told to call the fire department.

An officer was requested in the 200 block of North Harrell for an injured bird in her yard.

A person in the 300 block of Highland Avenue said someone tried to get into her apartments.

June 14

Dublin PD assisted Stephenville PD on a call on Washington Street.

A person in the 500 block of East Blackjack Street tied a dog to their front porch and left.

Loud music was reported at a residence in the 200 block of West O’Neal.

A small grey car was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic, possibly a Volkswagen. They took the business exit.

A person at Prime was assault by another individual that was possibly intoxicated. Headed towards Comanche in a silver pick-up.

An alarm service notified a home owner there was motion in her home in the 600 block of Ireland and a live feed showed the front door open. When individual left this morning everything was closed and locked.

June 15

A medium sized dog was on an individual’s property in the 500 block of East Myrtle Street. Dog was not aggressive.

An explosion was reported in the 500 block of West Travis with smoke over a residence. A welfare concern was checked out, and everything was okay.

The back door was reported open at CWJC.

A white vehicle was reported driving up and down Highland going more than 60 mph, near the park.

Dublin EMS

June 10 – an elderly male fell out of bed, had low oxygen and his spouse needed assistance getting him up.

June 11 – Two people in the 1000 block of West Elm Street were stung by bees. An elderly male and an adult male were not feeling well and were turning red. It was unknown if they were allergic.

June 12 – An elderly male had chest pain.

June 13- An elderly female was needing help off the floor and her nurse was not on scene. An elderly female fell.

June 15 – An elderly male fell and possibly broke his hip.

Dublin Fire

June 10 – The Proctor Fire Department requested mutual aid with a structure fire. They did not advise what they need. A small brush pile, not on the burn log was reported on CR 351.

June 15 – A reporting person advised there was something burning inside the 600 block of North Patrick Street. The RP could not determine where the smell was coming from and about 40 people were in the building.
