The following first responder calls were made May 19 –May 25. Local first responders handled 83 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 16 traffic stops.
Dublin PD May 19
A civil standby was requested in the 400 block of North Park.
Citation service was completed in the 600 block of North Park.
A backpack was found in the 200 block of Highland.
A suspicious person was in a store in the 200 block of North Patrick acting sporadic and talking to himself.
Suspicious vehicles were in the 800 block of North Patrick.
May 20
A welfare concern was called in for a female in a domestic violence relationship.
A reporting person advised they heard an explosion in the 300 block of North Grafton Street and did not see anything.
Cars were parked in the roadway on North Grafton blocking other cars from going by.
An intoxicated male was trying to fight someone in the 200 block of Hawk. Verbal only, was criminally trespassed.
Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of West Sheridan when a male tried to enter another vehicle someone was in, then ran down the road after claiming he needed a ride and was running from the cops. Subject headed towards the park and was believed to be intoxicated.
A 19-year-old male was reported missing, had been gone approximately five hours.
May 21
A person in the 400 block of North Patrick believed someone might be in the house, heard footsteps. PD cleared the house, no one found.
A person followed up on why an individual wasn’t arrested.
An alarm was activated in the 400 block of Liberty Street. Person was there but couldn’t provide correct passcode.
A white pickup hauling a trailer on South U.S. 377 drove into the ditch in the middle of the highway. Driver appears passed out.
A harassment complaint was issued in the 300 block of North Camden.
A possibly intoxicated person in a Silver Ford was at the Allsups, but no longer on site. Was not located.
Bridgette Davis was arrested during a traffic stop for a warrant out of Ector County for narcotics.
May 22
A reporting person in the 300 block of North Norton advised her dad was trapped inside his house due to a swarm of bees.
A person on Elm Street was stuck in the construction around Family Dollar and did not know how to get out. He was by the bank.
A call was made about drug activity in Dublin. Caller refused to answer questions and hung up.
A false alarm occurred at Dublin Family Medicine.
A domestic assault occurred.
May 23
A large, white dog was reported in the roadway in the 800 block of North Patrick.
A 2 or 3 year old was walking in the road on Liberty/Burnette with a phone. Child not talking. Reporting person kept child from roadway.
A person reported children yelling and screaming all the time and was calling concerned about their welfare.
A person called wanting information on her car that was towed.
A person reported a pile of brush or wood on the railroad tracks.
An animal at large was reported in the 500 block of West Travis. Person advised dog keeps hopping the fence, does have a collar and seems friends. Congrats! You now have a new dog.
A vehicle crash occurred on Blackjack and Grafton Street. Two vehicles, no injuries and out of the roadway.
A reckless driver was reported with a burgandy passenger car swerving all over the roadway.
May 24
A disturbance was reported in the 300 block of North Camden with neighbors trying to fight.
Two young men with guns threatened to shoot a family on PR 1610.
A criminal trespass warning was issued to someone at the city pool.
A person requested information on child custody.
A herd of sheep was heard on South Grand.
A disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Blackjack.
May 25
A grey KIA was just sitting in the middle of the road on East Elm Street. The lights were on.
An officer was flagged down on Hwy. 6 for a male that was stuck in the ditch.
Police escorted band members going to state out of town.
A powerline in the 600 block of Ireland Street was hanging down. Vyve was contacted, was not a powerline.
Two 911 hangup calls were reported in the 300 block of North Camden.
A person was outside the police station wanting to talk to an officer about a minor.
A dead cat in the yard was reported in the 300 block of Liberty Street.
Dublin EMS
May 19- A 19-year-old female is diabetic and in a diabetic coma, refusing to take glucose med. Dublin was requested to go to Stephenville Station 2 for coverage. An elderly male possibly suffered a stroke. A female with possible C-Dif needing to go to ER.
May 20 – A male teenage fell off the porch, hit his head and was experiencing dizziness.
May 21 – A male was in a deep sleep but woke up with pain in his legs and unable to walk.
May 22 – A reporting person stated she bent over to stretch her back, got really dizzy and then there was clear fluid coming from her nose. A teenager was kicked in the throat and stomach. PD called for assault.
May 23 – A woman fell and hurt her back. An older gentleman was having a seizure.
May 24 – elderly hospice patient advised she had fallen earlier in the morning, lost balance again and fell. Has neck pain and face scratches. A person had a seizure. An elderly female reported having chest pains.
Dublin Fire
May 20 – A hay field was on fire in four spots on CR 525.
May 23 – An unknown fire in the pasture of CR 381 was reported.
