The Dublin Garden Club held their regular meeting, May 14, before dismissing for the summer. Janice Reeder was hostess. DJ Klutts was co-hostess.
The club had voted earlier to give two $500 scholarships to graduating Dublin Seniors. This is due to the amount of money raised on the Christmas Tour of Homes. Again we want to thank everyone who supported this effort. We had several wonderful applications. The scholarships were awarded to NavaLee White and Joel Sanchez. Both attended our meeting so the club members to meet them. They both have high goals and plan to further their education.
For our last meeting we had a plant exchange. Everyone brought at least one plant for the exchange. We had some wonderful plants in our gardens or flowerbeds to exchange.
