It’s officially time to spruce up Dublin and this Saturday’s annual Community Cleanup Day offers the perfect resources to do so.
“This is a great opportunity for all of us to come together for our community. Whether you’re clearing out your yard, getting rid of bulk items or lending a hand to a neighbor, every effort makes a difference,”Police Chief and Interim City Manager Cameron Ray said. “Let’s all come together to make a cleaner and better Dublin! If we do something everyday to make our community better it will be noticeable in no time!”
The cleanup day is set from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 31 at the city of Dublin Public Works Facility located at 602 N. Norton Street. In partnership with Waste Connections, large dumpsters will be available on-site for your disposal needs.
You must be a Dublin resident in order to participate.
Accepted items will include general household junk, yard debris, furniture and non-hazardous waste.
The city cannot accept tires, electronics, hazardous materials such as paint, freon or any pressurized gas containers.
If you are physically incapable or a senior citizen who needs assistance, please contact Larry Stanford, Code Enforcement at 254-967-1327 or City Hall at 254-4453331.
If you want to volunteer to help, please contact the city. They need people, trucks and trailers to help clean up the city.
