The following first responder calls were made May 5 –May 11. Local first responders handled 71 calls during this timeframe and PD completed 25 traffic stops.

Dublin PD May 5 An officer served a citation.

A Black Dodge pickup was failing to maintain a lane on CR 351. Was released with a warning.

May 6

A vehicle crash occurred between a vehicle and a semi on Hwy. 377. The semi continued driving.

A person requested a civil standby in the 500 block of North Patrick in regards to getting property back.

May 7

A reporting person’s daughters were getting messages from an older male individual inviting them over. RP didn’t know the name, just that he lived in Dublin.

May 8

Ferman Alvarez-Acosta was arrested for driving with no driver’s license.

Lucy Frausta was arrested on a warrant out of Comanche County for driving while license invalid.

A cow was out on the road, about 1 mile from the school on Hwy. 6.

May 9

The post office called and said the carrier had called. Appeared to be an 18-wheeler stuck on the tracks on Cottonwood and Myrtle Street.

A person had a small child in her lap, not in a car seat.

A person in the 600 block of North Patrick heard what sounds like girls screaming.

May 10

Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of Highland when someone walking by a vehicle heard someone screaming.

A welfare concern was called in for a subject that was arrested, who had two teens at home.

A white Nissan Altima wrecked out beside the road on FM 1702.

A party was too loud on Thomas Street and an officer was requested for a noise complaint.

A young person was having mental issues and family requested help.

May 11

A person reported being harassed by her landlord.

Dublin EMS

May 5 – an elderly male feeling sick to his stomach is too weak to walk to the car. An elderly female fell, needed assistance to get up. EMS aided a suicidal subject.

May 8 – an elderly male had fallen and was unable to get up.

May 9 – an elderly male advised he was unable to walk. Symptoms started previous night and he had a bad back. A middle aged female was found on the ground dry heaving. Pupils dilated. A medical alarm activated for a lift assist. A male from a fall is now unresponsive.

May 10 – A female fell in the shower and hit her head. She was airlifted to Fort Worth.

May 5 – A possible electric fire occurred in the 800 block of East Sheridan.

May 9 – There was dumpster fire in the 800 block of Courtney Drive.

May 10 – There was a semi-truck on fire right at the county line. Mutual aid for Comanche.

A person reported a vehicle possibly stolen.

A disturbance occurred. A missing person report was issued on a teenage girl. Was later located.
