The following first responder calls were made April 21 –April 27. Local first responders handled 60 calls during this timeframe.

Dublin PD April 21

An accident was reported with a vehicle vs. donkey on FM 914/CR 265 with airbag deployment.

A silver Honda Civic was reported on E. Hwy. 6 unable to maintain lane, driving about 45 mph. Officers were unable to locate.

A driver screamed at another vehicle and drove off headed into Dublin. They were unable to locate.

April 22

A motorist assist occurred on North Patrick.

An animal at large was reported after a dog bite that occurred at the park.

Officer responded to a shots fired call when a neighbor heard shooting a firearm and yelling.

April 23

A person advised there was a power line down in a puddle in her yard on PR 1610.

A terroristic threat investigation occurred.

A citation was issued for animal at large when a pit bull tried to attack a subject in front of his house.

A person reported suspicious activity on Blackjack when a person heard screaming in the house across from her.

April 25

A disturbance occurred on North Patrick with individual that has PTSD.

Criminal mischief was reported on South Norton when someone slashed a subject’s tire and removed three lug nuts off her other vehicles.

PD was flagged down by an individual in another county that was suicidal.

Hospice requested an escort to check on a patient due to family being verbally aggressive.

April 26

A person went to the ER and is ready to be discharged, couldn’t get a hold of family. Asked officers to go to the home and make contact.

A homeowner in the 600 block of East Sheridan lit a burn barrel and then left the residence.

An individual just arrived home and someone had hit her vehicle in the 200 block of Gracie Street.

April 27

An officer conducted field sobriety test on a subject. No arrest made.

A harassment report was taken on Live Oak.

Suspicious activity was reported on North Shamrock.

Two noise complaints were called in on East Church Street and Comanche Street.

Reckless conduct was called in on South 377 for a semi with separating tires and the smell of engine belts burning.

17 traffic stops were completed for the week.

Dublin EMS

April 22 – A male was having high blood pressure and took a clonadine tablet, then had headache. A patient reported weakness and paralysis on the right side of the arm.

April 23 – A middle aged man was complaining of flu-like symptoms.

April 24 – An elderly female was not responsive, breathing on oxygen, acting strange. Needed assistance getting her to the ER.

April 26 – A female fell and family cannot get her up. An officer requested EMS. A middle aged female requested a lift assist. A male was coughing for several hours and was having trouble breathing.

Dublin VFD

April 24 – A person called stating her kitchen was on fire on Camden Street. Multiple departments called for structure fire.

April 27 – Fire Department was called for a brush fire on CR 520.
