From Staff Reports
The following first responder calls were made April 14 –April 20. Local first responders handled 88 calls during this timeframe.
Dublin PD April 14
A semi-truck requested information regarding road closures.
A welfare concern was called in for an elderly male walking on Patrick Street.
An officer transported a student home.
A false alarm happened in the 200 block of South Patrick.
April 15
A person requested the area checked for suspicious activity on Highland Avenue after hearing voices and dogs barking.
There was a super nice loose dog that was running in and out of the road in the 600 block South Patrick.
An alarm was activated on Edwards Drive.
Suspicious activity was in the 500 block of South Grafton Street.
Loose livestock was reported on CR 351.
April 16
Aid was given in a CPS investigation.
PD responded to an ongoing noise complaint on Comanche Street and the owner agreed to turn the music down.
A consent search was done during a vehicle stop. Citation written.
April 17
There was a 911 hangup on Edwards Drive. Everything was OK.
A major accident with four vehicles occurred on FM 219.
Neighbors reported a disturbance for a small party at the intersection of Church and Mill Street.
April 18
An alarm was reported on Patrick Street. No one was seen and the door was secured.
A cow was out under the bridge on Loop 267 and Hwy. 6.
A welfare concern was issued about a female not answering the door by home health.
A harassment call was reported.
A person called asking if her black cat had been taken to the shelter.
An extended cab track was parked on the property and had circled the property multiple times in the 700 block of East Myrtle Street.
April 19
An alarm was activated in the 800 block of East Blackjack.
A reporting person in the 400 block of West Clinton reported hearing banging noises outside for the past three nights.
There was a brown cow on the on ramp coming out of Dublin on Hwy. 377.
A reporting person found a random SUV with a ladies purse inside and wanted it relocated from her property in the 800 block of Elm.
PD responded for a deceased person that was on Hospice.
Help was given to a subject that called the suicide hotline both by PD and EMS.
April 20
PD responded to a call for an individual with mental issues being violent.
Dublin EMS
April 14 – A 13-year-old female was choking in front of the building near the pick up area.
April 15- Wife was not responsive, labored breathing on Hospice. EMS responded for a handicapped individual having urinary problems. EMS responded to an elderly female having difficulty breathing. A non-emergency lift assist help was requested.
April 16 – a middle aged female fell down and her caregiver was unable to get her back up. EMS was called for a possible fall injury. EMS responded for an 8-yearold with left side abdominal pain.
April 17 – A middle aged female was having trouble breathing.
April 18 – A female with chest pain over several hours was airlifted. EMS responded for an elderly female with right hip pain.
April 19 – a two vehicle accident with horse trailer with horses in the roadway was responded to by EMS on Hwy. 6/FM 914.
Dublin Fire
April 15 – a reporting person stated there might be a fire at the corner of Dove and Henry.
April 16 – Comanche requested mutual aid for a barn and grass fire on CR 322.
April 17 – Dublin responded to hay stacks on fire on CR 340, along with Erath Fire, Harbin and Proctor.
