The following first responder calls were made April 7 –April 13. Local first responders handled 67 calls during this timeframe.

Dublin PD April 7

An animal was reportedly left in a vehicle in the 300 block of North Patrick. The vehicle was not located.

A possible 4-wheeler accident was reported in the 17000 block of FM 847. No wreck, just someone working on their ATV.

Caller wanted information about removing a restraining order.

April 8

A female on oxygen was needing assistance at the hotel.

A welfare concern was issued for someone in response to possible elder neglect.

Two individuals appeared intoxicated at the vet clinic.

A check was done on an individual walking on Dobkins Street.

PD responded to a vehicle that hit a deer on Loop 267. Passenger had injuries from airbag and roadway was partially blocked.

A welfare concern was asked for two individuals who appeared to be homeless with medical issues.

Officer checked out with a vehicle with problems in the 200 block of Highland Street.

April 9

An officer took a child to school.

There were animals at large in the 600 block of Camden. Individual was trying to get his mowing crew set up, but there was a man who let his dogs run loose and they sound aggressive.

A report of child abuse occurred.

A dog bite to a child occurred in the 600 block of North Grafton.

April 11

An individual called aboutpeopleataneighbor’s home that were not supposed to be there.

An assault occurred between a male and female. Criminal trespass warning was issued.

April 12

A noise complaint was issued for a home in the 6000 block of North Patrick.

An accidental 911 call occurred in the 500 block of East Church Street.

A legal question was asked about returning a rental car with a restraining order in place.

Two 911 calls were placed from the parking lot at the high school with no one answering.

A group of people were arguing outside a home in the 200 block of Hawk Street.

April 13

Officers responded to a traffic hazard.

An alarm was activated in a home on Patrick Street.

There was a dog in a yard on West Valley Street that wouldn’t leave but was not aggressive.

Officers spoke to an individual reporting slander.

Dublin EMS

April 7 - A medical alarm was activated for a female having chest pains.

April 9 – A person had a fib and heart rate that was fluctuating and they had some pain. EMS was called when a student bit another student. A middle aged female with epilepsy was currently seizing.

April 10 – An elderly female was sick and lethargic.

A female called stating she was weak, dehydrated and requested to be taken to the hospital.

April 12 – A middle aged female had shortness of breath and pain in feet and knees. An elderly female fell and hurt her back and both knees.

April 13 – A female fell and needed a lift assist.

Dublin VFD

April 9 – A passenger car was fully engulfed in the 400 block of Sandy Lane. Everyone got out OK. Tree was also on fire and it was close to a home.

April 13 – A grass fire was reported near a home on CR 355.

A tree branch was touching the power line and sparking in the 400 block of North Patrick.
