    The Dublin Lady Lions softball ended their season on the home diamond Thursday, April 17 as the pride hosted Early and honored senior Anabel Phelps.

    Phelps walked onto the field with family and friends prior to the game as she was presented with special gifts.

    The Lady Lions worked to secure a footing for the final game, but was unable to gain traction in the 19-0 loss.

    “This season has sure been one for the books,” said head coach Vanessa Longoria. “It didn’t end the way we wanted it to, but we started off strong.”

    “We for sure saw a lot of improvement on the field from these girls this year,” she continued. “I’m excited to see even more improvement next year and to be even more successful next year.”
