Lady Lions battle breeze and foes

    Dublin Lady Lions fought wind and foes in games last week as they traveled to Peaster Tuesday, March 11 and hosted Comanche Saturday, March 15.

    In the Tuesday match, Peaster grabbed the win 15-0. Haden Keilers struck a hit for the Lady Lions but the visitors had trouble securing a run.

    Dublin hosted the Maidens Saturday after winds caused the game to be rescheduled from the day before. Even still, the mid-afternoon winds blew dust around the diamond and caused some people to sway in the stands.

    The home team struggled to find their footing but a home run to left field by Keilers brought in two. As the teams left their dugouts, Comanche had claimed the W 17-2.
