A last minute push has resulted in a contested race for Dublin City Council after filing closed Friday, Feb. 14.
For Place 3 filing, incumbent city councilmember Darren Turley is unopposed.
For Place 5 filing, incumbent city councilmember Sammy Moore will face off against challenger Dalton Harris.
For Place 1, Bolek ‘Bo’ Kabala has filed for the seat along with Patrick Salyer and Homi Limbuwala. The seat is currently held by Barrett Joiner who did not file to retain the seat.
Dublin ISD school board will not have an election as incumbents Anjelica Salyer and Pat Leatherwood. Leatherwood are the only two filers.
Stephenville City Council and School Board will not have an election as all candidates are unopposed.
For city council incumbents Place 1 LeAnn Durfey, Place 3 Lonn Reisman, Place 5 Maddie Smith and Place 7 Brandon Greenhaw have filed to retain their seats.
For Stephenville ISD School board, incumbents Douglas Young and Matt Miller are the only two filers. Early voting will be held starting April 22.
