The following first responder calls were made Jan. 20-26. Local first responders handled 80 calls during this timeframe.

Dublin PD Jan. 20

Granny Clark’s was burglarized. The front glass door was broken and the tip jar was stolen. Investigation is continuing.

A disorderly conduct was reported in the parking lot in the 300 block of North Patrick.

Jan. 21

Alarm reported in the 200 block of South Patrick. Police responded to 300 block of North Patrick for suspicious activity. Reporting person stated someone was messing with his door all night.

Jan. 22

An alarm was reported in the 300 block of South Patrick.

A welfare concern with suicidal ideation was reported.

Follow up investigations were completed.

A reporting person in the 100 block of Cottonwood advised there was a peacock in her yard. The peacock fled southbound towards the railroad tracks.

An individual on East Harris asked for a close patrol.

A welfare concern was completed for a subject with mental health concerns.

Loud music was coming from either a truck or SUV in the parking lot of 700 block of North Patrick.

Jan. 23

A follow up investigation was completed.

A doctor was wanting on a welfare check on a patient after some bad test results were delivered. Patient was not responding to calls.

A criminal trespass warning occurred for a subject at Dollar General.

A welfare concern was completed.

An off duty officer called in a swerving Honda that was driving on the shoulder on Hwy. 377.

A reckless driver was called in going west bound on East Hwy. 6. A white Ford long bed was swerving and keeping an inconsistent speed.

A front door alarm was reported in the 700 block of North Patrick Jan. 24

A follow up investigation was done.

Police responded in reference to stalking and harassment.

A reporting person lost her wallet and wanted to know if she needed to do anything before going to the DMV to get a new license.

A neighbor in the 300 block of East Travis was playing loud music.

Jan. 25

Abandoned home had open doors. Was checked and secured.

There was a welfare concern when two little girls were leaning over railing at the football stadium. Officer was unable to locate.

A citizen contact was made.

A car was parked the wrong way in the middle of the road by the Little Church on Grafton.

An agency assist occurred with a traffic hazard on the Loop.

Citizen contact was made. A reporting person in the 600 block of East Liveoak stated a neighboring address was flooding with water touching the ceiling.

A theft from December was reported.

A reporting person stated their neighbor called while they were away stating their trailer was stolen and when they returned it still wasn’t there. Now there is a vehicle in the backyard.

Jan. 26

A welfare concern was completed.

A suspicious vehicle was reported.

There was a vehicle reported at a home that wasn’t supposed to be there.

An aggressive dog was reported on Church Street. The dog would not let the person enter.

27 Traffic stops for the week.

Justin Farrar was arrested after traffic stop for driving while license invalid.

Dublin Volunteer Fire Department Jan. 23 - A small grease fire was reported in the apartments on Highland. Fire was extinguished.

Jan. 24 – A small grass fire was reported on the side of the road on FM 1702, approximately 3 miles from Dublin on the right side of the road.

Jan. 24 – A guest house was on fire with no occupants on South Hwy. 377.

Jan. 24 – There was a possible tree on fire on FM 1702.
