Erath County Genealogical Society will hold it's first meeting of the year from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Dublin Public Library.
ECGS member Marilyn Hay will present the program on Navigating Family Tree Maker Software. Some guidance to be covered includes Sync Options; Compacting; Life Span on Index & Sort; Customizing Facts & Reports; Preferred Spouse Printing Order; Adding / Categorizing Media; Migration Maps; and more.
Born and raised in Fort Worth, Marilyn grew up regularly visiting Dublin. Her father grew up in Dublin and was a friend of Billy Closter of the Dr Pepper company. Marilyn served as a Dallas Police Officer and detective for 32 years. She worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and retired after two years. FBC Dublin to host youth night First Baptist Church of Dublin will be hosting a youth night at 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26.
There will be a guest speaker and live music along with a taco/nacho bar and ice cream.
All area youth are welcome!
The church is located at 220 E. Live Oak Street in Dublin.
CTFAC, Stephenville Music Club hosts event Come join the Stephenville Music Club and Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9 as we celebrate the love of music. The free program will include performers ranging from country to rock and roll, to blues and crooners.
The event will be held at CTFAC Gallery on the Square at 148 West College Street.
