Those interested in this year’s home and business Christmas Lighting Contest only have a week left to spruce up their homes and yards for the Light Up the Night contest. The event is co-sponsored by The Dublin Citizen, The Dublin Chamber of Commerce and Revitalize Dublin.
Judging is planned for the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. as the Citizen staff drives through town to take photos of the top 25 entries. Entries will then be placed on social media and at the library for the community to vote on the winners Dec. 19-Dec. 21.
Winners will be announced in the Dublin Citizen, the Dublin Chamber Facebook page and Dublin TX Chatter the week of Christmas.
A first, second and third place will be named with winners receiving bragging rights, a sign in their yard and their home’s photo published in the Dublin Citizen.
