Runners medal at Dash

Dublin Cross Country runners took home some medals Wednesday, Sept. 25 as schools traveled in for the Dublin Dash invitational meet.

The high placements of several resulted in JV Boys taking 2nd place as a team, varsity boys taking 4th and the 8th grade girls taking 4th place.

JV Boys were bolstered by the performance of Kyler Gaitan in 1th place, Jeremy Vasquez in 15th, Riley McClatchy in 20th, Dylan Cisneros in 22nd, Travis Spharler in 25th and Aiden Jeffery in 26th. Jose Torres, Colbyn Wiley and Jace Mendez also improved their times in the JV.

Varsity boys got their place thanks in part to Masonn Crow in 16th place, Aaron Salinas in 23rd and Hudsen Joslin in 26th. Paul Adams, Mikey Resindez, Jitse DeBoer and Miguel Cantera also improved their times in the varsity boys.

Diana Macias and Savannah Chacon led in JV Girls with 18th and 21st XC place respectively. Rose Rusell also improved her time.

Varsity girls also improving their times included Kimberly Rojas, Kloie Whiteley, Avery Sieperda and Gabby Cervantes also improved their times.

Contributing to the 8th grade girls 4th place finish were: Ismari Molina (4th place), Tylor Nail (14th), McKayla Hernandez (28th) and Jerilyn Biggs (33rd). Top 7th grade girls were: Amilliana Torres (15th) and Chloe Goodrick (29th).

Top 8th grade boys were Jose Filio (4th place) and Eli Moreno (5th place). The top 7th grade boy was Jaxson Salinas in 18th place.
