Sept. 9 was contacted to pick up the dog.

There was a report of a vehicle that was vandalized in the 500 block of South Patrick.

There was an alarm going off at Mint Smoke in the 100 block of South Patrick. Officers found the front door had some broken glass on the interior part of the door. Owner advised that could have been when an employee had to get in that morning. All merchandise in the store was untouched and no signs of anyone in the store.

Reporting person in the station requesting information on a domestic situation that happened awhile back. She advised the male was texting and threatening her.

Sept. 10

The reporting person had to forcefully remove an employee from workplace and is now receiving threats over text, driving by residence and recording the house. Officers arrive on scene to speak with the RP about who the subject is. Officer checked out with the subject. The officers were advised by RP that he didn’t want to press charges but wanted the subject to stop contacting him.

Sept. 11

There was a dog at the Dollar General that kept coming into to the store. It was reportedly friendly but the RP was having trouble catching it. Animal Control Sept. 13

A welfare check was requested for the reporting person’s husband. Advised she is out of town and can’t get in touch with them. Contact was made with the husband and his phone is being repaired. Officer contacted wife and let her know.

Sept. 15

Officers were trying to conduct to traffic stop on Hwy. 377. A vehicle was proceeding with speeds up to 100 mph and not stopping. Officers were able to get vehicle pulled over, get the driver detained and an open container was found. Jose Garcia, 31, was arrested on charges of evading arrest/detention with a vehicle.

Dublin assisted with ECSO for a disturbance in the county.

A reporting person advised the kid that lives next door came in her back door and attacked her oldest son. Officer made scene to speak with reporting party and she was at work when this happened but the neighbor watching her kids witnessed the incident.
