July 22
There was an accident at the Post Office. Someone hit the building with their vehicle. No major damage or injuries.
There was a gas drive off at Allsup’s. The subject was able to be contacted to get it taken care of.
July 23
A reporting person heard something banging against the window in the 300 block of North Camden. Officer was out at the address, searched around the house and did not locate anyone or anything. Residence will be on close patrol.
There was a report of loud music at the park.
A fight was reported in the middle of the roadway at Camden/Blackjack. Officer made scene and parties were already separated and the fight was over. Soon to be ex-husband was driving by the house yelling profanities at her. No charges were pressed for the assault and criminal trespasses were issued.
July 24
A reporting person came to the station to report a stolen/missing passport.
An officer was out on a motorist assist to help air up a tire.
July 25
A Dublin officer was out with a deputy with a warrant service out of Dublin. Amanda Hamilton was taken to jail on the warrant.
The reporting person advised they are packing to move and the neighbors are driving by yelling and cussing at them from across the street. Officer spoke with both parties, the person yelling and cussing agreed to leave the neighbors alone.
A reporting person requested a welfare check on her neighbor. She is going through a divorce and her soon to be ex-husband keeps driving up and down the road. Officer spoke to the female and she was fine. She was advised to contact her lawyer if there were any violations from what was stated in the paperwork. The road he was traveling on is a public roadways and there was no criminal offense committed.
July 26
A reporting person advised a male and a female with someone else pulled into a space by Dublin Storage, got out and threw their hands up and was yelling profanities. The caller requested a phone call back.
July 27
A reporting person has a court order for child custody visitation and the wife if not allowing him to have visitation. She lives in Dublin, he is in Tennessee, and requested a call back.
Comanche County requested assistance to serve a criminal trespass.
A reporting person was at the police department wanting to speak to an officer about returning her husband’s stuff back to him.
July 28
A reporting person loaned his car to his ex-wife and she won’t give it back. Officer spoke with the wife and she advised the vehicle was in her name. The officer confirmed the vehicle was in her name and told the caller the situation.
There was a 911 hangup. Dispatch heard screaming and there was a language barrier. Officer arrived on scene and spoke with the caller and she stated that her brother and his friends were in the backyard drinking and one of the friends got mad and started yelling at her brother. The subject left the property before an officer arrived. All verbal, no altercation.
A reporting person advised there was a fight at her neighbor’s house in the 300 block of North Camden. Officer arrived on scene and a female and male had a verbal argument prior to officer’s arrival. Parties then separated and left the residence.
