A reporting person advised that their son came and got the truck. The truck is in their son’s name but they have been making the payments. Officer advised them of their options since it was a civil matter.

There was a cow out in the ditch on Hwy. 6 West. An officer on scene was able to secure the cow.

DPD assisted Eastland County about a theft of service that occurred in their county. The subject lives in Dublin.

There was a reporting person in the station to request a criminal trespass on a female but she does not know her last name or the exact address. Reporting person will come back with more information.

July 10

An officer was out with a subject experiencing a mental health crisis. Officer gave the subject a courtesy ride and everything was OK.

A reporting person advised there was an open door at a house that should be vacant. Officer made the scene, checked the house for any people or damage and secured the house.

A reporting person has questions about child custody.

There was a possible broken lock at a storage unit. The tenant moved all of their stuff out and it was not broken into.

July 11

A reporting person left a pair of sunglasses in their truck and left it to get detailing and now they are missing.

A reporting person advised her son’s riding tractor is missing in the 700 block of Thomas.

July 13

A reporting person advised her daughter’s soon to be ex-husband keeps circling the house. An officer met with both parties, no criminal offense occurred. It’s a civil matter.

July 14

A male individual tried to steal the reporting party’s vehicle, broke his arm and hit him with a wrench and the subject is still on scene. Charges were declined to be pressed.

Dublin PD assisted ECSO with a pursuit. Intoxicated driver was arrested by the county.
