A caller had questions about the eviction process.
A reporting person advised the door was unlocked at a downtown business but no one was there. Officer responded and called owner, building was secured.
A reporting person wanted a call back in regards with filing an open records request and complaint form.
There was a verbal dispute between family members. Officer made scene and parties were separated before arrival.
A reporting person advised two men stopped at her house and tried to inspect her roof but she thought it was suspicious because they did not stop at any of the neighbors. Officer advised to call back if the person came back.
A reporting person advised that his stepdaughter is riding around with a male and her child in a truck that is not secured in a car seat. Officer made scene and spoke with the female and male and they retrieved a car seat. The male subject was issued a criminal trespass for the reporting person’s property.
July 2
An officer was out with a person having mental issues.
A reporting person stated that a car rolled by his neighbor’s house behind him in the 200 block of West Blackjack and sounded like a gun shot. Officers in the area did not hear or see anything suspicious though they were going to patrol the area throughout the night.
July 3
A female individual was yelling at the reporting party while he was trying to work on his truck. Female broke a mirror but he didn’t want to press charges. Home owner advised the male does not live there and wanted him and the female to leave the property. Parties were separated.
A reporting person stated her landlord was going on her property when she was not there and one of the neighbors saw him in the shed. Officer met the caller at her residence and informed her that the landlord would be contacted to find out what was going on.
A male individual tried to break down the door in the 500 block of West Liveoak. The reporting party stated that he threw a bag of clothes at her and sprayed her with her water house. Officer made scene and the parties were separated. No charges were pursued.
July 4
A reporting person wanted to speak with an officer about a civil matter concerning his wife.
Police responded to a domestic disturbance.
July 5
A reporting person advised there were people shooting off fireworks in the city on Davis Street. Officer in the area and did not locate anyone shooting fireworks. Area was to be patrolled for awhile.
A reporting person stated his ex-wife took money off his social security card.
A person came to the station to speak to someone about a no trespass warning.
July 6
A reporting person has legal questions on a civil matter.
A reporting person advised there was a subject at his mom’s house that had a warrant. Officers made scene and subject had already left.
A female was sleeping in her backseat at a residence. Officer checked on her and she was intoxicated the night before and she just slept in her car.
