Dublin Public Library seeking donations for Back to School Fair

The Dublin Public Library is seeking donations for its annual Back-to-School Fair set for July 27. Donations needed include hygiene items (such as hand sanitizer, chap stick, deodorant, shampoo etc.), Clorox wipes and tissue as well as new socks, along with new or like-new makeup bags. Financial donations are also being accepted. Donations can be dropped off at the Dublin Public Library from now through July 20. The library is located at 206 W. Blackjack St.

Friends of the library to host book sale 
The Friends of the Dick Smith Library will be hosting their annual book sale from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. July 25 and July 26.

The sale will be located in the MP Room of the Dick Smith Library. Parking is available in parking lots: P36 & P38. The parking permit needs to be displayed on dash.

Dublin Market Days happening 

Mark your calendar for July 20, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wright Park, nearly the happening center. Stop by the Market for goodies, crafts and gifts—make the day special. We expect a bunch of vendors—and new ones, and enjoyable weather. Find something unique at the Market! We welcome nonprofit booths—like youth group, school, or community organization fundraisers. County Clerk to teach on county records research 

Erath County Clerk, Gwinda Jones will speak at the Dublin Public Library at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 20 about “Researching Erath County Records.”

Hosted by the Erath County Genealogical Society, attendees can hear about finding county records in person and online, such as court, land, probate, naturalization, vitals, and more.
