Dublin Market Days May 18
Saturday it is for the Dublin Market, May 18, 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Wright Park. It will be a lovely summer day in May. Stop by early. We expect a bunch of vendors with a wide variety of goods. Bakers and bling, produce and more. We’ll have unique, fresh, creative, and lovely things and goodies. Come find your friends at the market. Check the Dublin Market Facebook page for pictures.
Elks Lodge celebrates 20th bday
The Stephenville Area Elks Lodge No. 2834 will celebrate its 20th birthday Saturday, May 18 with a birthday party.
The celebration begins at 3 p.m. and dinner will be served at 5 p.m.
The lodge is located at 1560 West Hyman Street in Stephenville.
DeLeon Museum to showcase art
“That’s Art” will be at the DeLeon Area Historical Museum Thursday, May 23 – Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Art comes in many forms. It might be oil painting, water color, pastels, charcoal, wood work, needlework, pottery, stained glass, metal work, leather, and much more. It can be old or new. It can be something you created, something passed down in your family or something you purchased. It can be something you treasure or not.
It is not judged; it is simply a show that is open for anyone. The art may be brought to the Museum, 173 N. Texas Street, by noon Wednesday, May 22.
Memorial Day flag placement in Lingleville
Those who wish to remember those who served are invited to place flags at Lingleville Cemeteries at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25.
Volunteers will meet at Lingleville East End Cemetery first and then go to Lingleville West End Cemetery.
U.S. flags will be provided.
