February 7 A Reporting Person on Blackjack advised that her chickens were killed by a dog. The owner was found and received a citation. February 9 Dublin PD was informed of a flat bed 18-wheeler hauling pipe on Highway 6 East that was unable to maintain their lane. Two warnings were issued.

February 11 At 7:50 p.m. a white F150 truck took off the side mirror of a red dually on FM 847. February 13 At 8:23 p.m. a vehicle hit a hog about one to two miles South on FM 1702. February 15 At 3:58 a.m.

Dublin will officially be voting on filling three school board seat in the May 7 elections. After filing ended on Friday, the Dublin ISD races officially consisted of: Challenger Dewayne Kolb and incumbent Bob Cervetto for an unexpired term.

Dublin starts seeing green

Dublin is getting even more green as decorations have started popping up for the annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities. This year’s celebration will be held on March 12 with vendors, live music, the annual parade, an interactive murder mystery, the Shamrock Shootout disc golf tournament and more.

Dublin sales remain steady in January

Dublin sales remained steady in the most recent sales tax report issued by Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar on Feb. 1. Sales tax receipts for January were within $400 of the same period last year. This is even with the Dublin Dollar General being closed for renovations.
