The local community is invited to gather in support of those hurt by violence during a Stop the Silence Rally on Thursday, April 13 at 6 p.m. around the Erath County Courthouse in downtown Stephenville.

There was a report of three dogs coming in and out of a house in the 800 block of Preston with a door being wide open. An officer made scene and tried to make contact with the owner but they were not home. The officer secured the door and was going to follow up with the owner.

The Dublin FFA Cotton Judging Team won the Sweetwater CDE Cotton Contest on April 6 and is heading to state competition. Dublin placed first out of 45 teams.
