The county recently approved a project by Port Arthur Navigation District Industrial Development Corporation for Cloverdale Renewables, LLC, to help Frontier Dairy turn its solid cow waste into natural gas.

Museum Matters

In September of 1912 a new creamery was being installed in the Lafferty building across from City Hall. This apparently was common for small businesses to come to towns such as Dublin. A creamery and a pharmacy was also operating in Lingleville as well.

The Dublin Chamber of Commerce has set a Solar Shamrock Festival for Saturday, April 6 as a St. Patrick’s day redux since the chamber’s activities were rained out.There will be an opening ceremony for Dublin Baseball and Softball Association at the City Park from 9-10 a.m., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
