The Erath County Farm Labor Union of America held a county meeting at the County Courthouse. The following officers were elected: President G.W. Preston, Vice President Professor L. Williams; Secretary/Treasurer Mrs. R.H. Dean; Escort D.O. Davis; Door Keeper U.C. Stewart; and Chaplain George T. Matthews.

Elizabeth Ann Cathey has been named Dublin High School’s Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow of 1972.
Top Dublin High School football players received honors in a special banquet. They were: Alan Traweek, Mike Boucher and Larry Norris.
Dublin FFA Land Judging Team won first place at the ACC Judging Contest. In the team were: Joe Riley, Damon Stephen, Mike Eoff and John Hodges.

Dublin Chamber officials Rita Reed, John Vines and Bill Greer were pictured as the Chamber’s Adopt-A-Highway sign was installed on Highway 6 East.
Dublin High School won first place in district competition. The first place finish was made possible by competitors: Stephanie Michael, Dorie Crouch, Kristy Scott, Marcie House; Dasa Cogburn, Lesley Anderson, Amy Thiebaud, Amanda Whisenant, Raymond Salinas; Meladee Hodges, Cody Griggers, Charlotte LeBlanc, Isabel Cuevas and J.R. Sharp.
