March 17, 1922
J.J. McDaniel of DeLeon, along with brothers and associates, bought the Prim building on S. Patrick and was moving their bottling facility from DeLeon to Dublin. They owned exclusive rights for Coca-Cola for a wide section of Central and Western Texas.

March 14, 1947
A new city water well was being drilled to keep up with Dublin’s growth. The new well was expected to $5,000 to $8,000 and be drilled to a depth of about 550 feet.

March 16, 1972
A rural scene painted by Eula Mae Doggett was among pieces shown in a March exhibit at Dublin National Bank. The painting previously won first place in an art club competition held at Perry Hall and judged by Brownwood art critics.
A Junior livestock show was held by members of the Dublin FFA and 4-H at community fair park on March 11. Exhibited were 42 dairy heifers, 21 sheep, 18 swine and 11 head of beef cattle.

Dublin Nursing Center staff and residents released colorful balloons to honor the departure of DNC owner Linda Finch from an Oakland California airport for a re-creation of the ill-fated last flight of Amelia Earhart. The flight was being held on the original flight’s 60th anniversary and filmed by a National Geographic film crew.
