The choir of Dublin First United Methodist Church, under the direction of Mrs. Earl B. Moore, was presenting the story of Christmas in music and song.
Erath County Tax Assessor-Collector William O. Croft announced that working in the office for the next year were: Henry Gilbreath and J.A. Walsworth, tax collecting division; Rita Robertson, automobile license department; John Woolverton, deputy assessor; and Charley Hooks, city assessor.

The young people of Dublin First Baptist Church were staging a live nativity scene in front the church for the sixth consecutive year.
A gospel festival was being held for the Dublin school auditorium as Billy Keith as master of ceremonies. Performing in the free evening were: the Crosby Brothers of Goldthwaite, the Jake Brown Quartet of Fort Worth, The Dublin Quartet and the Highlanders of Dublin.
Harry Bradberry was pictured with items from Farmers Import Company Warehouse, which was opening to local customers with wholesale prices for two days. Farmers Import Company was a wholesale distributor of import items like statuary to retail store from Phoenix, Arizona to Hoston. The warehouse was located at 101 S. Grafton, across from the Dublin fire station.

Frigid temperatures didn’t stop Dublin Goodfellows volunteers from delivering 140 food boxes to local families. Goodfellows had received about 350 applications for toys. Among the many helping the driver was Bill Kloster, who donated $1,000 for the purchase of food and toys. The Dublin High School student council also held a food drive for local families.
