Tanny and Ronnie Jenkins were photographed with the fish their father caught on Lake Granbury. The fish totaled 56 lbs, with him catching two small fish weighing 7 ½ lbs and 9 lbs and a 40 lb yellow catfish.

The valedictorian and salutatorian were named for the class of 1996 at Dublin High School. Ami Buchanan was valedictorian and Keri Simmons was salutatorian. Nineteen other students were honor students for maintaining 3.0 grade averages or higher.
