Saturday marks the return of the Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off and local groups such as the Lions Club and Keep Dublin Beautiful are getting in on the action.
KDB invited neighbors to join them in cleaning litter off of the main highways leading into Dublin.
KDB President Pam Simon reported that she will be handing out bags and vests Saturday morning at 9 a.m. in front of the Dublin Golden Chick.
After bags are filled, they can be dropped in front of the Keep Dublin Beautiful sign at the entrance of the north side of Dublin.
Simon said this is one of several pick-up days planned with an upcoming outing planned alongside the May 1 Dublin Clean event.

The Texas Trash-Off is held annually encouraging Texans to do their part in keeping the state clean by organizing statewide cleanups. The project is part of the Don’t Mess with Texas Campaign, which was started in 1985 under the sponsorship of the Texas Department of Transportation.
