At 12:48 a.m. seven loose horses wearing reflective blankets were secured on CR 502, awaiting owner.
At 11:49 a.m. a grass fire on CR 241 took about an hour to put out.
At 2:48 p.m. a power line sparked a fire on FM 1188 West that took almost two hours to put out, which rekindled a half hour later.
March 14
At 6:32 p.m. the pursuit of a stolen maroon Dodge dually from Coleman travelled up Hwy 377 from Proctor through Stephenville, reached speeds of 100 mph even though spike strips disabled several tires and struck a vehicle at Wolfe Nursery Road.
March 15
At 12:45 p.m. a quickly spreading grass fire went up into trees, jumped a road into another hay field and took over four hours to put out.
At 3:29 p.m. near Morgan Mill on Hwy 281, a head-on collision resulted in one person being ejected with multiple injuries and then taken to Harris Hospital by Air Evac.
March 16
At 3:48 p.m. a grass fire was spotted off Hwy 377 South and St. George Road, but not before caught a train car on fire.
At 4:22 p.m. three donkeys were secured from Hwy 6 West, awaiting owner.
March 17
At 6:05 p.m. a grass fire broke out on FM 2156 and lasted one hour.
At 6:59 p.m. a welder with no spotter on CR 367 was advised of the danger.
At 7:02 p.m. a huge fire starting on CR 372 threatened home owners who troopers helped to evacuate from the Eastland, Carbon, Gorman and DeLeon areas. The fire burned about 34,000 acres and a tractor on CR 355 due to the 40 mph winds.
