At 3:53 p.m. a fire broke out on CR 255 and took several trips of the area fire departments to refill their tankers with water to put it out.

At 8:54 a.m. a major accident between a vehicle and an 18-wheeler on Hwy 377 South prompted fire and EMS dispatched, one fatality.
February 10
At 6:46 p.m. two missing Jersey cows with sale barn ear tags from FM 219 North were reported.
February 11
At 7:09 a.m. an electrical line was down due to a vehicle rolling over onto its side and hitting a pole on Hwy 108 North, no injuries.
At 9:40 a.m. a downed wire was seen sparking on FM 847.
At 5:56 p.m. a vehicle slid off Hwy 6 East, flipped over and ran through a fence, injuries to hand and leg.
February 12
At 6:53 a.m. a storage barn was reported on fire on CR 385 with a grill and propane tank inside.
At 10:13 a.m. illegal dumping of personal trash, shelves and furniture was found on CR 242.
At 2:08 p.m. a box of glass fell off a trailer onto Hwy 377 South.
At 2:23 p.m. five cattle with double-notched ears were reported missing from CR 526, Clairette area.
February 15
At 5:28 a.m. United Coop was called for a sparking downed wire on FM 219 South.
February 16
At 2:41 p.m. a black and white horse and a sorrel were secured from FM 219 North, awaiting owner.
